Pulse uses essential storage for sign-in, security, preferences and personal product behavior. Non-essential tracking should never be introduced silently.

Analytics
Pulse may use privacy-conscious analytics to understand product performance and feature usage. Where non-essential analytics or advertising technologies require consent or preference controls, the notice and controls should be updated before those tools are activated.
Advertising cookies
The current sponsorship model does not require a sponsor to receive private Pulse account data. Retargeting or third-party advertising cookies should not be introduced silently.
Managing storage
Users can clear site data through their browser settings. Clearing essential storage may sign the user out, reset preferences or remove the browser's My Pulse last-visit history.
